Awww you have Passion's name! I miss him so much :C Love your stuff, Kari!♥
LOVE your silhouette-styled paintings! Specially the bird. Something about black over a sunset-like background just fills my heart with joy.

Advice please? How do you get digital renditions of your paintings? I'm sort of stuck in black-and-white land...
Thank you so much!

Do you mean how I get them as digital pictures? Or how how I've edited some digitally with software? Well, to get them as digital pictures I scanned them onto my computer with a basic printer/copier/scanner. Some of the drawings have added digital effects- those I did with a free photo editing software called GIMP. I hope that helps, but if you have more questions please ask! :)
No problem! And I'm totally serious about my loving of silhouette-style of work. A humble majesty, so to speak. Although, that describes the crimson cow more than the firebird picture, which isn't majestic but rather emotionally powerful. It's hard to put the feeling into words, you know?

But yeah! I was wondering, what is GIMP and how could I get it? Is it one of those "duh, Komo, just Google it" kind of a thing"? I'm sort of just stuck with mechanical pencil at the moment...

Looking forward to more work!
